Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AutoBook, the CRM at autobook.pro. By signing up you accept them. If anything here is unclear, email info@autobook.pro before you sign up.
1. Who's providing the service
AutoBook is operated by Luke Hartsink, sole trader, registered in the Netherlands. Contact: info@autobook.pro. References to “AutoBook”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in these terms mean the same business.
2. Who can sign up
AutoBook is a B2B product for car-detailing businesses (and adjacent businesses like valeting, paint-correction specialists, ceramic coaters, paint-protection-film installers). By signing up you confirm:
- You're at least 18 years old.
- You're acting on behalf of a real business that performs (or is starting) detailing or related services.
- You have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
- You'll keep your business contact details, VAT number, and company number accurate.
3. Free plan & trial
AutoBook has a free plan that never expires: you can manage clients, your job pipeline, and follow-up tracking at no cost, with no credit card. Every new account also gets a 14-day trial of the full paid feature set. When the trial ends your account simply moves to the free plan — your data is never locked away. Paid features (booking page, online deposits, automation, maintenance plans) require a subscription, which you can start at any time via Settings → Subscription.
4. Subscription & billing
- Price: £97 per month (or €97 for euro-denominated accounts), inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. Multi-currency handling is performed by Stripe.
- Billing is handled exclusively by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription → Manage billing, which opens Stripe's secure customer portal.
- On cancel, you keep your paid features through the end of the current billing period. After that, your account returns to the free plan described above — your data stays intact.
- Failed payments: Stripe will retry per its standard schedule. If the subscription becomes
past_duefor more than 14 days, your account returns to the free plan until billing is resolved.
5. Refunds
We don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial months. The 14-day trial exists so you can evaluate the product without paying. If you're unhappy in the first 30 days of paid service for a reason that's our fault (genuine bug, broken feature, downtime), email us and we'll arrange a fair refund or extended access on a case-by-case basis.
6. Customer payments (Stripe Connect)
AutoBook lets detailers connect their own Stripe account (“Stripe Connect”) so customer deposits and maintenance-plan subscriptions land directly in the detailer's bank — not ours. We do not take a platform fee on those transactions. The detailer's relationship with their customer (refunds, disputes, chargebacks) is governed by the detailer's own terms and Stripe's standard merchant agreement.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use AutoBook to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or messages that violate WhatsApp's, Meta's, or any local anti-spam law (UK ePrivacy Regulations, Dutch Telecommunications Act).
- Upload content you don't have the right to use (someone else's logos, copyrighted images, etc.).
- Attempt to circumvent the auth gate, the subscription paywall, or other technical access controls.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape pages systematically, or attempt to extract source code or database contents from your account's API surface.
- Use AutoBook for any business that is itself illegal in the jurisdiction where it operates.
- Resell or sublicense access to the app to other detailing businesses (each business needs its own AutoBook subscription).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. We'll always give a written warning first unless the breach is severe (e.g. hosting illegal content), and we'll explain what you did so you have the chance to fix it.
8. Your data
You retain full ownership of all data you put into AutoBook — your client list, jobs, photos, branding, message templates. We process it only to operate the service. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. All your data is erased within 30 days (immediately from the live database; backups prune within 30 days). Subscription invoices are kept for 7 years to meet tax law.
9. Service availability
We aim for 99.5%+ uptime but we don't guarantee it. AutoBook runs on Supabase + Vercel (both EU-hosted, both with their own uptime SLAs we're subject to). Planned maintenance is announced in advance via email or in-app banner. We don't owe you compensation for short downtime windows or for third-party outages outside our control.
10. Third-party integrations
Optional integrations (Google Calendar, Stripe Connect) are governed by their respective providers' terms. Connecting one means accepting that provider's terms in addition to ours. We're not responsible for the third party's uptime, billing, or data handling — but we'll cooperate with you to investigate any cross-system issue.
11. Limited warranty
AutoBook is provided “as is”. We don't warrant it's error-free, that it will fit your specific business model, or that bookings created via AutoBook will yield any particular revenue. We do warrant we're acting in good faith and that we'll fix critical bugs quickly.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK and Dutch law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of AutoBook is capped at the lower of: (a) the total subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £1,000.
We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost profits, lost data we couldn't recover from backups, lost goodwill). Nothing in this clause limits any liability that can't be limited by law (death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, statutory consumer rights).
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced by email to every active detailer and via an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Cosmetic changes (typos, link fixes) may happen without notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page is the authoritative version date.
14. Termination
You can terminate any time by deleting your account. We can terminate your account if you breach these terms; in that case we'll send a written notice with a reasonable cure period (usually 7-14 days) before suspending access, except in cases of severe breach where immediate suspension is appropriate. On termination, your data is erased per the Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith discussion via email; if that fails, the courts of Amsterdam have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents a UK consumer from relying on UK consumer-protection law that can't be contracted out of.
